Typhoon Policy 

The Club will close once the Hong Kong Observatory has hoisted Typhoon Signal Number 8. Members are required to leave the Club premises within 1 hour from the signal being hoisted.

Club operation will resume in 2 hours after Typhoon Signal No. 8 is lowered before 4:00pm with limited services (including catering service) if no “extreme condition” is announced by the Government.

If signal no. 8 is lowered after 4:00pm, the Club will remain closed until the following morning.

Black Rainstorm Warning Policy

Please note that the Club will remain closed temporarily when the Hong Kong Observatory has hoisted the Black Rainstorm warning before the Club’s opening hours at 7:00am. The Club will resume its normal operation two hours after the Black Rainstorm warning is lowered with limited services (including catering service). If the Black Rainstorm Warning is still hoisted at 4:00pm, the Club will remain closed until the following morning.

If the Black Rainstorm warning is issued during the Club’s opening hours, all the catering and recreation services provided by the Club will generally continue as normal. However, all the outdoor activities will be suspended until the warning is lowered.
